If you look at Devers #'s, they're eerily like Herreras. Except Herrera has a higher average and 1/2 the at bats. They're both best suited as dh. But Herrera comes without the attitude and huge contract.

Well Devers has a 152 OPS+ and 18 doubles, 15 HRs, and 58 RBI in 73 games. Arenado has a 93 OPS+ and 11 doubles, 8 HRs, and 36 RBI in 67 games. And more importantly Arenado has a NTC.

I understand Devers is a more tradeable player. But you would think we could have moved Arenado. And we all know he has that ntc. It just gets frustrating when he is preventing us from fully evaluating other guys who may or may not have a future here. He doesn't. I give him his props- he's a future hof and not a bad guy in any way. With Devers attitude, I would rather have Nolan. But still, neither are fits here.
