Emotion, Pride, Ethic, Leadership, Give a GD
I love everything about Willson Contreras. We need a veteran like him in charge. His style is contagious.
Best part is he wants to be here and he wants to lead!

Agree 100%. I think the organization jerked him around last year with the whole LF move, but he handled it like a pro.

Arenado could certainly take a lesson from himdesertrat23 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 16:15 pm Agree 100%. I think the organization jerked him around last year with the whole LF move, but he handled it like a pro.

Arenado has never been a winner. And it shows.Jatalk wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 18:59 pmArenado could certainly take a lesson from himdesertrat23 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 16:15 pm Agree 100%. I think the organization jerked him around last year with the whole LF move, but he handled it like a pro.

I find it interesting that the Cards acquired such an expensive player who doesn’t have a leadership bone in his body. He is not a winner and never will be. Maybe Moe sees a lot of himself in NA?

He’s fantastic so glad he didn’t waive his no trade clause

As much emotion as he has, he’s also smart.
A lesser player w fake machismo would’ve been confrontational and started a benches-clearing thing from those weird contacts at 1b early in the game.
WC played it off.
That’s what a leader does.

I really like him. He cares. But it's funny how so many on here were trashing him out early in the season when he was in a terrible slump. Now Noot is the whipping boy. There always has to be one on Cards Talk.
