Saggese could help against all the LHP pitching

Post by Shady »

Lefty hitters Burleson, Gorman and even Donovan abd Nootbaar seem to have some problems vs all the LH pitching the Cardinals have been facing.

Do Honky Tonk Man and Pura Vida agree with this "common sense" take?

He definitely was. I would like to see Sagesse instead of Vilade but is it best for Sagesse development to play everyday in minors?

Saggese is slashing .220/.267/.317 against lefties right now. Why do you think that would magically be meaningfully better in the majors? Just because?

I agree Saggese is better off at Memphis getting regular ABs. But his lofty BA earlier in the season with the Cardinals indicates to me his RH hitting could help the Cardinals, right now. They seem to have to face a lot of LH pitching. ex. Burleson is an outstanding hitter vs RHP. But I believe I'd rather have Saggese batting against LHP. Same with my preference of Saggese to Gorman vs LHP. Common baseball observational skills applied.

You're behind a screen name. I recall you doxxing yourself at one point... and you may have done some things that real men shouldn't do. Real men don't lose their teaching jobs for... I digress.

Regardless, why do you defend him? Saggese has been absolute A.$$ vs LHP this year. Shady doesn't know that because he doesn't research anything.
