Scott is hitting .237 with 17 steals. And mildly slumping. I can see an easy.250 hitter.
As for his D, who knows what he saw. I also thought most outfielders take a step or so back on balls hit right at them. They then adjust.

Two hits today a hit and a walk yesterday positive signs he’s coming out of it. People were ready to send Winn down when he started ice cold. Scott will get hot again
Being LH, he needs to learn how to drag a bunt up the 1B line, rather than pushing them all down the 3B line as he does now.
There are 20 hits a year available to him by mastering that one skill.

Needs to level off his swing and stop popping the ball up.
Just hitting the ball on the ground will get him a ton of infield hits.
And every one becomes a potential double.
I'd keep throwing the kid in CF, with a day off every week or so. Like it or not, stamina and fatigue are issues with these young players. The Cards need to sort out the corner OF spots, which are bigger problems than CF. Bloom may need to deal from our surplus of catchers and middle infielders to solve that one.
