Donovan is a solid player having a good year, but I think the team will benefit from having Herrera in the 3 hole. Hopefully when Donovan is back healthy he could hit 1st or somewhere like 6th.

Hope Libby has a bounce back start.

Ok with your nine and one struggling, back to back at bats beginning in the third.

At least Scott’s OBP is above .300 though, even with him struggling. Pozo’s at .258, Arenado at .275, and Noot at .288. Those SLG%’s (and OBP’s) are nice in the 3-5 spots though.

That’s why I’d be thinking about putting Donovan leadoff when he gets back if Noot hasn’t snapped out of his funk. Donovan has a .375 OBP since May 1st, but his SLG% is below .400 (.396). Fits well with the 1st spot.

My 1 - 5 would be:
Donny
Winn
Hererra
WillyC
Gorman/Burleson vs RHSP.....NADO vs LHSP

Until Noot gets back on track, then Donny to #5 hole behind Ivan and WillyC.

Grazie, Crav.
About time we bust out with an all-around good effort.
Mebbe Pozo could untie Kirk’s shoes?

Per The Cat:

MRI on Donovan's toe, awaiting results but Donovan told him it really became unbearable last night

Today:

NADO
3 HR's vs Lauer

WillyC
1 HR

Cubs get a run off Luzardo in the top of 4 on two doubles, the first one by our old friend Carson Kelly
