Three blown saves in a row for Helsley? Is that right?

And five on the season which is already one more than all of last season and it’s not even the all star break. I said it all off season his value will never be higher trade him

That would've required offseason work by Mo. We all know his winter efforts revolve around signing a couple guys he doesn't have to compete against other teams for. What was the last transaction that mope made at the Winter Meetings?

It’s like there is zero vision for this team. They have cut payroll. They let contracts expire. They signed one reliever to a minimal contract. We recycle the same bullpen arms that come up here, fail, are sent back down only to be recalled again. We lack outfield production and our answer to that is Vilade who finally got a hit over the weekend but is 9-62 in his big league career and an OBP around .200 and an OPS under .400. Only God knows what they see in him.

With minimal help this team would be a NLC contender. A couple of bullpen arms and a RH bat to play the outfield. Instead we get Vilade as that OF bat and guys like Roycroft (who was recalled again) Munoz (who has been up and down a couple of times), we’ve seen Svanson, O’Brien just waiting for someone to have success. It certainly is frustrating.

Milwaukee traded their's. What difference does it make? The less traded, the more potential return.

How'd he look? I didn't see it. One run saves are really tough. The previous blown save was kind of a fluke, or at least that was what was reported on CT.

His value still wasn’t high. Other GMs predicted this and discounted offers.

Pitchers go into slumps too. Who would you rather have pitch the ninth? Maton? He blew the game in extras. If not Helsley then who?

He looked like the early version of Nuke Laloosh.
He threw one pitch 5 feet over the batter’s head

Thanks. I think the talent is still there. Hopefully, he'll round back into form. He has to.

Never know unless you try. And we know Mo isn't going to put in the effort.

Now that's foolish. Just stop making stuff up.

None of us even know if there were discussions with other teams, and if so, what compensation was discussed.
