If Murray State holds this 2-0 lead (it's college, leads are never safe), that will give the ACC only 1 rep (Louisville) in the CWS after sending 4 last year. SEC down to 2 (Ark and LSU) this season after sending 4 last year. BIG 12 (Ariz), BIG 10 (UCLA), Sun Belt (Coastal Carolina), Missouri Valley (Murray St), Independent (Oregon St.)

I’m a solid SEC fan but we tend to overrate ourselves. I do think top to bottom SEC is best but there are a lot of good teams in other conferences and some solid mid majors.

Not sure how they had 8 but I’m surprised both Texas and Vandy knocked out.

DVH is jinxed. Hard to figure but no one beats LSU when Anderson pitches like that especially with a wide strike zone.

Yea was a surprise. The mids like Coastal and Murray and UTSA are impressive, but it all comes down to pitching, or lack of it, that wins. That’s where the Mids fail.
