Too early to pull that plug. He’s 22. Excellent sign, looks fantastic in these clips.@KareemSSN wrote: Tink Hence’s final line:

Hence’s fastball was up 1.5 ticks from his previous rehab outings, averaging 95 MPH and registering 7 whiffs. He also mixed in a hard gyro-SL, a low-80s CB w/ minimal depth, and is still finding feel for his CH.
He’s 22.
He's shown he can't stay healthy as a starter.
Tink Hence looked great last night

Will ride it out. He's not going to impact the 2025 pitching staff. An Old Friend wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 13:54 pmToo early to pull that plug. He’s 22. I’m ok with Hence closing. Do we know how his body reacts to pitching 3-4 times a week? It’s different than starting but still taxing.RunSup wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 14:19 pmWill ride it out. perhaps I am wrong but he looks like a guy who will struggle to stay healthy as a starter but could be dominant throwing an inning in relief
