Two Fans Discuss NHL Playoffs' Worst TV Commercials
As I learned from working at network radio affiliates of three MLB clubs, when you sign up to advertise during their games...you're signing up for ALL the games; either the regular season or postseason package, so you see and hear the same spots ad nauseum. Re the worst NHL playoff commercials, I have no idea how that spot with the three NBA stars at a fashion show at the Pantages Theater is supposed to sell internet/phone service....but that's why Madison Avenue geniuses get the big bucks. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/639837 ... anada-usa/

Great NHL commercial
Backstrom was on Ovie's Life Insurance Policy, and their photo was larger than Ovie with his wife.

Of course, you have to have a TOP5 pick to get this sort of perk for your city.

Do you want to be the one to tell him Brayden Schenn was a #5 pick?Aesa wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 22:48 pmHere we go again. ASOGG can not make a post of any kind without beating the dead horse.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 22:44 pm Great NHL commercial

Ive spelled out the difference before. A top5 pick that gets traded away in his near prime is a failed top5 pick. Good player, but not great. When I say top5 Im referring to players that a team selected themselves in the top5.

And the whole forum has spelled it out before. No one GAF, so shut up about it.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑08 Jun 2025 17:05 pm Ive spelled out the difference before. I loved the one where Backs was at Ovie’s house eating cereal and Ovie’s wife was busting his chops about ita smell of green grass wrote: ↑07 Jun 2025 22:44 pm Great NHL commercial
