Can someone tell me who in the organization thinks Brad Thompson is

is a good announcer, cause someone must think so. I think he is probably a nice guy, but he would be better doing public relations for cardinals , but not broadcasting.

I have seen a few episodes of Thompson with Fredbird doing those shows. That fits his personality pretty well . He also seems good when the two of them visit elementary schools for PR stuff.
As for analyst on games , I do prefer Sweeny by a large margin.

I also prefer Sweeney over Brad. I do think Brad has toned it down some with all the unnecessary banter.

Hate to break this to the OP but Thompson's gig is definitely public relations.

The time for being objective and educating fans instead of indoctrinating them are long over.

Thompson never breaths when he's in full run talk, no pause, nothing just a continued flow of nonsense. Nobody has said less with more, than Brad Thompson.
