That is the thing that always strikes me about Charlie Gitto's. The food is solid but it's really overpriced IMO. However, the portions are ridiculous. Last time I was there I ordered veal parm and I swear the entree was the size of a frisbee. Biggest piece of veal I've ever been served.

I’m old school. I hate the chains like Bandanas…..
But in saying that….Super Smokers in Eureka was my favorite. Their BBQ sauces at Schnucks were the best too.

Haven't tried it yet but will put it on the list. As for my favorite place, that would be my patio. I make the best smoked pork shoulder and beef brisket in the area.

Big Woody’s has been our goto for 5 years or so. Very good and underrated place.

Pierre ... I was looking at possible centers we could acquire and while looking at ROR saw Colton Sissons.

Do you (or others) have an opinion on him as a stop gap / 3rd line center until Dvorsky is ready?

He's great on the dot, has decent amount of hits and blocks, etc. He has one year left at $2.8 mil.

I'm just not big on smoked meats and that's like 98% of what's out there.

I still don't get it.

I like my own bbq better than what I can find elsewhere!
