Every broadcaster does this to some degree. They are trained to build suspense and to sell the drama of the game. Why does it upset people so much? If you’re so good at telling when a ball in any a homer then don’t you just know Chip is wrong and not worry about it?

I think it depends on whether one wants the broadcaster to be an entertainer/salesman.....

Radio is more for the honest factual reporting. TV broadcasters are paid to make good tv. Some of you could ruin a wet dream.

Well….I don’t listen to the radio…

and the T V is always muted…….

Nevertheless….I find your interest in my nocturnal activities more than a little troubling…..
