Re: Last 28 days a gaggle of top prospects
I'm almost as excited about the trades they should be making soon as I am about the performances.
One of Crooks/Bernal and one of Saggese/Gorman/Burleson at least... packaged with Noot and Hence that could get quite a haul.

You might be right about the Cards trading those players soon. I think their trade focus will center on the following:
Arenado
Fedde
Mikolas
Matz
Helsley (maybe, or they may keep him and QO him)

Here was Baez’s first AA HR yesterday….114 mph off the bat! Annihilated!

He also has wheels. He is a very intriguing prospect. And just now 22 years old.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2025 10:12 amSeriously, he has quick hands. Re: Last 28 days a gaggle of top prospects
yes...by far, positive development. And it wasn't subtle either. He started a smidge slow in April, collected his normal K's. I thought it was another Baez season in the offing...I was hoping he didn't slump too much in the summer to earn another demotion. Then he started collecting several singles a game, and that grew into a streak. Then the XBH started showing up. And I realized his Flyball rate had dropped tremendously, which lowered his K rate. Those grounders started to mix with line drive....something clicked basically...we haven't seen anything close to this from Baez the previous 3 full seasons.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2025 10:12 amSeriously, he has quick hands. Really encouraging to see that out of Baez. He's not far away if he really puts it together. He has raw power.
