I dont think the Blues would have been on him either at $7.5 mil ish but hes going to be good for 60 pts

Seems to be about the going rate.

Unless Duchene takes another discount with Dallas, I expect him to get pretty much the same deal. I expect Tavares to get a bit more.

Love him or hate him, I almost feel like the Avs had to sign him after giving up so much to get him……including the greatest 2nd line center in the history of the NHL.

I’m referring to Smelly’s insistence that Calum Ritchie is the most highly coveted 2nd line center in the history of the world.

A very good prospect for sure, but probably a little hyperbolic to anoint him the next coming of Mark Messier!
