I think the "new" playoff format is going to lead to this more. The bigger battles in the earlier rounds resulting in lesser matchups in the conference finals, resulting in a longer break before the Final starts.

I imagine they all have to be pretty banged up at this point. A couple extra days of rest can only help with what you said.

Especially with these two specific teams. They know what it takes to get here and they know what they have to do to get over the top. They also happen to know each other pretty well. I'm not worried about any of them losing momentum after longer breaks. They'll be ready.

I'll be rooting for Edmonton.

Marchand, Tkachuk and Florida as a whole don't care much for them..
