is victor scott going to hit enough to be a regular CF'er?
He can run and play defense but I am not sure his bat is going to ultimately keep him in the starting lineup...the guy should be bunting on hitting the ball on the ground he is useless hitting it in the air...we shall see

Yes. He has went through several hot and cold streaks this season and when he goes cold the players should never slump crowd say the same thing then he gets hot again

I see what you are saying. Also will improve his skills at bunting which will help eliminate some of the slumps.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑03 Jun 2025 19:34 pm Yes. So far VS is hitting well enough to play every day in CF and hit 9th. If this is peak VS and he can maintain it for 5 years he will be the regular CFer in STL for that period.
Would I like more? Sure. But CF, SS and C are all defense first positions. And he is doing a great job.

He can hitting 9th. Meanwhile, Arenado can't hit enough to play everyday 3B.

Arenado is about the same age as Ken Boyer when he hit a wall. Boyer lost is more on defense than offense, but both suffrered. Arenado is still good on defense.BMoreCardsFan wrote: ↑03 Jun 2025 21:18 pm He can hitting 9th. Meanwhile, Arenado can't hit enough to play everyday 3B.

scotts bat could be carried by the yanks or dodgers teams with sluggers up and down the lineup...on a team like the cards I am not so sure..we shall see

For Mo, Oli and ownership, yes. Doesn’t matter.

Scott on cold streak along with Herrera
Team still hit 7 runs tonight despite that.
