Minor League Updates (6/3) ~ Cards System

What’s with the development list? Been looking for showalter. Could that be injury or just working with coaches? Didn’t thing he got lit up or anything before disappearing

it's a way for the Minor Leagues to shelve a player, but not put them on the IL, nor lose them to another team. Rosters are 30 players, and sometimes they have too many players, and they can't injure list them. I'm of the following that only 1 player per team can be on the Dev. List...mostly it's the 3rd catcher...and they get to stay with the team, so they usually become the BP catcher until needed for a roster spot.

Showalter stayed with Peoria.
