Wright State is the last team a P5 would want to see when the pairings come out. They've cycled through some coaching staffs, but they've maintained their position as one of the best mid-major college baseball programs of the last 10-15 years.

Yes they have. I was surprised Dallas Baptist went out meekly. They have a good mid major program. As does ECU and Coastal.

My wife and I have connections to DBU (and we're not even Baptists). It's a great institution and I'm always happy to see them succeed and to get recognition.

One of the enduring attractions of the NCAA basketball tournament is the frequent presence of cinderalla teams. College baseball needs them. UTSA would represent a compelling cinderalla story for the CWS.
