10 games over .500

Post by sikeston bulldog2 »

Good morning.

Been a minute or two since we were 10 over. That would be an 86-76 finish. Maybe just enough. Need two more win.

Haven’t played Seattle, Yanks Cubs LA Padres Giants. Milwaukee is hot.

Now we are in June. Cubs in 22 days.

Looking good.

Crazy that it will be almost July before they play the Cubs for the first time.

June 23. That is ironic. Had the Cubs sucked we would have played them in April.

If you think 86 will be enough, you're fooling yourself.

It won’t not with the West. It’s a good number of wins for a team on a reset. Nice start to returning to relevance.

+10 games over was always TLR's first bench mark as to whether or not he thought he had a contending team.

Let's hope Cards can get there and the next stop is +15 over.

Two thoughts- wow what a number. Then, but after that season, if you don’t win it all, it’s just a forgotten number.

15 over is quite the accomplishment. Talk about a reset that lit the fire underneath the team.

Not I. I did not think they had the offensive punch or BP to do this. In fairness they have been relatively healthy all year so far. Lets' see what they do with the first run of injuries.

I am ambivalent. If they have the tools to contend in the playoffs I want them to go for it. if it's a mirage ala the last 3-4 years I wish they would stumble and continue a rebuild mode.

Guess time will tell. At least they are FUN to watch. I like the spirit on the club.
