Oh lord that means burly is probably the everyday right fielder
Probably.
But....
Why not Gorman at second with an OF of Hurdy Gurdy, VSII, and Noot. Burly is not an mlb-caliber outfielder. His fWAR now sits at -0.1. That's not good.
Thank You
It can actually be a 2 week opportunity or more depending on NG results.
For the Cards, the Barrero's and Vilade's of the world are for injury fill. They're the tools
you use for the little events.
Wrist surgery for inflammation? Seems kind of dubious. Hope he's back soon. It's kind of crazy that most of us are lamenting his absence in the lineup. (Not you Scouty). At least you're consistent.

Oh, hell no!
Double h e l l no!
Donovan
VSII
Noot
Call up SAGGESE and play him at 2nd base!
Probably the thing to do for now. They could also speed Nathan Church's development along. He is not only a great fielder, but known first as a hitter. Let's see what he looks like in Memphis. Springfield numbers: .328 .371 .534 .905
Well Mo called up career minor leaguer R. Vilade/26 who is hitting better than Saggese.

Gorman "runway" has been impeded by the inability to trade Arenado. A lot of his peripheral stats have actually improved. I would be happy to see him get an opportunity. But they probably stick Burly out there.

Correct.
Against RH pitching, Donovan to LF, Mootbaar to RF.

His runway is also impeded by Oli's Burleson obsession. Gorman and his higher ceiling are continually benched for no glove Burleson and his whopping .733 OPS.

Hope this isn't the start of a bad time
If losing JW for a spell causes a "bad time," Cards are a truly [shirt]ty team then
It might be a bad time if they deal with it by mismanaging or misusing the roster, exposing fatass too much in rightfield or giving too many ABs to Gorman. Makes no sense why Saggese isn't the corresponding call-up.
