I hope he does get another shot. We need a center.rezero wrote: ↑29 May 2025 17:11 pm Why does nobody list Alexandrov? I seen him play one game in the AHL last year and he was the best player on the ice. He was much stronger on defense, more physical around the net, and a better puck handler than Dvorsky. The difference between him and Dvorsky were significant. I know he has been around a while and Dborsky is young, but seems like he should get some props and another legit shot in the NHL.

I don’t consider him a prospect anymore but if I were to include him on the list, I’d put him in that 10-14 range.rezero wrote: ↑29 May 2025 17:11 pm Why does nobody list Alexandrov? Agreed he’s a good AHL player. He and Peca were probably the best overall forwards. But he’s a tweener IMO. Not skilled enough to be a top-6 player on an NHL roster and doesn’t bring the intangibles to be an effective bottom-6 NHLer. He has no standout abilities really. Lacks intensity a bit. He’s the better AHL player today but this is pretty much the peak of his career IMO. I don’t see him progressing much more than where he’s already at.
Besides that, I’d be surprised if he re-signs with the Blues again. He’s a RFA again and my guess is he signs somewhere overseas. Maybe he gives it one more shot here but idk. He waited until just before training camp this season to sign a 1 year deal. Clearly he wanted more or was entertaining other offers from overseas. After not even a sniff of the NHL this season my guess is he decides to end his N.A. career this time around.
