He has a great head in his shoulders. He went from a kid most of us never wanted to see in the OF again to one that we are all pretty confident in when he’s out thereRonnie Dobbs wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:02 pm The thing I like about him is that he never seems to give up. You know he's a hard worker the way he improved his defense. He's looked overmatched at times, but he apparently hasn't let it get to him. I'm not counting him out yet.
What you didn't hear was how poorly Gurriel misplayed itTheFantasyStud wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:08 pm Patience will pay huge dividends with Walker.
Did I hear 117 MPH off the bat on his double?
51 OPS+. Gets worse every year...Banner29 wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:16 pmHe has a great head in his shoulders. No question he works hard and clearly has the ability and mindset to improve when he does so. Gives some hope for his offense. Consistency with Brant Brown could pay off huge. At one point I considered him to be bust proof and while I’m now backing off a bit on that I do think he can still figure it out
Still just 23.
Nice comments. He might be a sparkling addition to a pretty good team.Banner29 wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:16 pmHe has a great head in his shoulders. also consider the distance the LF'er had to run, and eyes bouncing.. def not a gimme playramfandan wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:20 pm Hero, goat, hero again all in one game.
As for the ball that scooted by thr LF to wall, that’s the 2nd time I remember a ball doing that. He hits it with such velocity his balls get there in a hurry compared to other hitters.
He had better chance than most to get it by the fielder.
No...Gurriel is a bad OFer.ramfandan wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:20 pm Hero, goat, hero again all in one game.

Easily playable...Gurriel wet himself on that ball. He should be embarrassedFuturegm2 wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:24 pmHe is but that ball was smoked.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:23 pmNo...Gurriel is a bad OFer.ramfandan wrote: ↑24 May 2025 16:20 pm Hero, goat, hero again all in one game.
