Well, looks like I am forced to take over the POBO office for a day.
I am sending Pozo down. Will have Herrera at least be the backup catcher. Free up some DH ABs to at least give Gorman some more regular runway.
Just like Mo said they were going to do all off season. 1 start a week or 10 days for Gorman just doesn't cut it.
If that doesn't work, I am trading Burly within a month and force Oli's hand. Burly is a good bit player but can be replaced by what's coming in the minors next year and with more defensive flexibility.
Otherwise, if you are not going to give Gorman a regular chance. Send him back to AAA and eat your words, Mo. Just retire aready.

I already am axing you on that. Pozo has been Libby’s catcher for like 7 starts and he’s had a breakout year. So I’m sticking with what is working there.

Gorman should be sent down. I get why they aren’t playing him I don’t get why he is still in the majors
Re: POBO for a day
Nothing like forcing your manager’s hand.
You two would have quite the working relationship. Lol

But I took over the POBO office for the day. Just having to work around Mo who is still sleeping.
If your last name is Dewitt, I guess you can nix my moves. But then shouldn't you be working on the game day experience? Nachos are too expensive.
Re: POBO for a day
Well they are going to look at trading Arenado at the end of the season and still not know anything more about Gorman than they do right now. Will Gorman's bat be viable to start at 3B next year? Are they just giving up in him?
The POBO ought to follow through in what he says he's going to do. Otherwise just don't say anything.
And yes, I'd force Oli's hand on Burleson if it resulted in giving Gorman more runway. I already know where Burly can play acceptable defense regardless of what he does with his bat. They already have coverage for 1B. I need to know whether Gorman is a solution for 3B next year.
If they've pivoted away from the whole runway thing and are actually focused on winning this year, that's another thing entirely. But, Oli is still not talking that way.
See the last gas House Gang visit with Oli from Tuesday. One of the later questions on whether he's pivoted from development to managing to win.
