Roycroft shows a lot of promise but it seems he's less than the sum of all his parts for some reason. That's why they play on the field. He just hasn't had the results. Maybe he hangs too many pitches or something, I don't know. I'm glad to see a replacement though.

The #STLCards have recalled RHP Matt Svanson and optioned RHP Chris Roycroft to Triple-A Memphis, per the club. Svanson will be available tonight when the Cards host the #Dbacks.


Let's hope we never see Roycroft again.
