HELLO: He had a no-trade clause and has had only a few teams he'd be willing to go to. Apparently none of them are interested in him. He has said he wants to stay in St. Louis.

What's the point of discussing trading him when, at this point, it's not in the realm of possibility?

Same with Mikolas and Gray and Contreras.

Hopefully Bloom knows better than to hand out NTC deals. Better not to get a player if it requires a NTC, imo.
NTC's limit. Players can get paid to wave them.
After this season NA would have 10-5 rights anyway, the NTC becomes irrelevant.

There would be no talks IF NTC created an absolute, or if NA didn't make himself as also
being open to a trade. LAD come, for instance how much does he still want to stay?

You're in general correct, but trades discussions are as part of sports, and we have 0 control over them.

There aren't better options unless we are trading for one. He has like the 5th highest WAR on the team.
Move Donny to 3b……stick Sagessee, JJ, or even Gorman at 2nd….tired of looking at him
Saggesse has more trade value though, and Nado has a higher WAR. Had Half our RBIs on Tuesday night. We lost because only half our bullpen is compentent.
What would Donovan's boost be in WAR if he was getting the 3B positional adjustment verse having games in LF?
WC if Catcher vs 1B? It is, what it is right, but NA is 6th on the team while playing a plus position and 46 out of 50 games.

Why compare Saggese to NA with WAR when he has just 14 games in?
Pozo is only 0.4 behind NA in 30 fewer games. You're take on this one doesn't seem to
be at your normal higher standards unless I'm missing the point again.

Because nada is better at 3b than anyone else and it’s not close.

Ideally, they should be both.

And not just at TD. Day In and Day Out.
