But honestly, don’t care much. I’m not a fan of DeBoer but I supposed Oilers fans crying about Broberg and Holloway annoyed me more so I’ll root for Dallas. I like the way they’ve built their team too.
I don’t hate Carolina but I find them boring. Love Brind’Amour though so wouldn’t mind him winning. I like how Florida is built and consider them the favorite for now.
I can't blame EDM fans for the complaints on the offer sheet robbery.
They are, after all, mostly right. Can you imagine this forum if another team robbed the Blues in similar fashion?
I don't have a hate team left in the mix. I've said Dallas to win it from the beginning and I'll stick with that although I would prefer a Canes/EDM final but regardless I'll be definitely pulling for the West over the East in the final.

I didn’t dislike that they were salty. That was understandable. What I didn’t like was how some of them would go on about how much the Blues sucked still, that Broberg or Holloway were no good and the ridiculous stuff about Holloway “clearly” being unhappy the Oilers didn’t match as he didn’t really want to go to a cr@p organization like the Blues.

Oh no doubt on those points but I followed the gripe thread pretty religiously (I found it interesting) and I found most of those sentiments in the vast minority of their fan base.
I have a strong opinion that Holloway knew his path in EDM was blocked and he was mature enough to know his break through opportunity was in STL. Sure, the money in either place would be great if they had kept him but I bet he felt freed up in leaving.
We will all see how STL is viewed between them in another year when their contracts come due.
I'm rooting for the team with no player on their roster that they drafted in the TOP5.
Oh wait. All 4 have at least one.
I''ll stick with the team that I thought would win before the playoffs started, Dallas.
Dallas cast off their oldest Center at the start of the season, and he was our best Center in the playoffs. Dallas has a lot of talent on that roster, and I like their goaltender.
I am going along with whomever said ABC! As much as I loved the 80's Oilers I have disliked them for over 30 years. Since McDavid arrived I have hated them. Then again, I never liked Crysby. Team 8 from the beginning.
Now the series I would like is Stars vs Canes. It has been over 20 years since either one won Lord Stanleys' Cup. Nothing against Panthers but want some newer blood on the ice.
I get the disaffection for Edmonton, on whatever merits, but not at all the Canada hate. Sounds political. And goofy. Like hating on Ned Flanders goofy.
