Can't remember if an engineering group did a study or what but I do remember a telecast saying (and this was several years ago) that since the tall BPV apartment building went up the HR rate at Busch drastically decreased.ramfandan wrote: ↑19 May 2025 19:52 pmWouldn’t a building block wind flow BLOWING INTO the field ?blackinkbiz wrote: ↑19 May 2025 19:45 pm Really dislike Busch stadium, especially since they put up the apartment building that blocks the wind flow and prevents a lot of HRs.
This stadium sucks for offense.
If so, blocking incoming wind would enhance hitting a HR I would think.
Am I missing something on the wind currents ?
Maybe it causes a dead air area or swirling, I don't know, would hate to make an assumption and look more foolish than I already do, but I recall the HR rate going down significantly.
And the 1 ft of space between the foul lines and the stands is just Busch's way of selling a few more tickets.
