Kudos to Arenado hes a team player. I thought oli was maybe getting smarter but apparently hes just as dumb as always. Even Arenado is a better manager than oli

Kudos to Arenado
Re: lineup change at Nado's request
He probably knew it was coming so he got ahead of it. Good move
Re: lineup change at Nado's request
Excellent post, riff raff ! We will never know but after seeing all the kudos of Nado himself asking to be lowered in the lineup ,
I was about to post this scenario ..
Maybe Arenado did do that and it was for the betterment of the team OR
maybe an assistant coach got him aside and mentioned 'Hey , Nado , I am giving you the scoop that the staff has been discussing you moving down in the lineup , so think about offering it yourself so it puts you in the best light.
We will never know but we do know that Arenado looks good if the article is correct .
You would be good in a PR department !

Re: lineup change at Nado's request
Bravo, Arenado !
Re: lineup change at Nado's request
It also makes me think he may veto any trade that isn't the dodgers. He ain't that expensive by todays standardsramfandan wrote: ↑19 May 2025 18:33 pmExcellent post, riff raff ! We will never know but after seeing all the kudos of Nado himself asking to be lowered in the lineup ,

Listened to Jim Hays on telecast. Nado moving down was NOT portrayed as newspaper article said.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑19 May 2025 17:48 pmKudos to Arenado hes a team player. I thought oli was maybe getting smarter but apparently hes just as dumb as always. Even Arenado is a better manager than oli
Hays quote was:
Oli said he wants to give him (Arenado) a breather.
Arenado said. ‘He gets it.. he understands. Guys hitting behind me should move up.
So according to Jimmy thr Cat it was OLI who gets the credit .
At no time did Hays mention that Oli said Arenanafi came to him asking yo be moved down.
So someone put a false spin on the story.
When Hays said. Nado said. He gets it..he understands.
We know who imitated the move…. And it sure wasn’t Nado

Re: lineup change at Nado's request
Well that sure doesn't help his trade value, does it?
He's a shell of himself with the bat.

Re: lineup change at Nado's request
And he said it’s been a while since he felt like he was capable of producing like he should and doesn’t know if he will ever get to that a lot of the game is mental if he doesn’t think he will get back to what he was or even close to it it’s almost certain he won’t
Re: lineup change at Nado's request
Pretty sad when the player has to request the obvious needed change……..
Oli, just do the right thing and stop with virtue signaling nonsense….you look the fool
And if you don’t know what the obvious right thing is to WIN….then move on

Re: lineup change at Nado's request
Then play Gorman at 3B, and trade Arenado, that's the right move to make for all involved.

Kudos to Arenado.... But, Oli should have come to that decision on his own weeks ago....
