Your rooting interests for Conf. finals?

For me, I'm for the Stars. I've come to tolerate them and their fans (well, most of them). Toss a coin for the other final.

Both the East teams left I could care less about. I personally would like to see Dallas win it just for the sake that I had them picked since last years playoffs. Don't mind if McJesus and Drai finally got it done. Carolina getting to the cup would be good for moral there. They been knocking at the door for a while.

Rooting for competitive games, not the tent folding we just witnessed.

East: Carolina. Panthers won last year. I like the way the Canes play and the NHL seems to think they are the "local" team I should be watching.

West: Dallas. I'd rather see Broberg and Holloway win a Cup first, and I don't care for Kane. Rantanen is playing inspired hockey. I have a lot of respect for McDavid and Draisail but not for the Oilers overall.

My head says Stars vs Panthers in the finals with the Stars winning, but my heart wants Oilers vs Canes with the Canes winning.

East - don’t care, just want it to go 7 games and triple OT in game 7! Like both teams, so no hate watching!

West - Dallas for me. Our old neighbors moved to Dallas several years ago and they are huge Stars fans. A lot of Stars fans were rooting for the Blues against Winnipeg, probably so the Stars would have home ice advantage in round 2, but whatever. I also think Oilers fans are as annoying as Leafs fans, so it would be nice to see them lose.

Has absolutely nothin' to do with nothin' as far as where the Cup ends up, but I believe Connor McDavid Is much better than we've seen. I'd like to see him get more Kudos. Now that we're not in anymore. Again, just not that important to me.

But honestly, don’t care much. I’m not a fan of DeBoer but I supposed Oilers fans crying about Broberg and Holloway annoyed me more so I’ll root for Dallas. I like the way they’ve built their team too.

I don’t hate Carolina but I find them boring. Love Brind’Amour though so wouldn’t mind him winning. I like how Florida is built and consider them the favorite for now.

DeBoer is something like 9-0 in Game 7s so I think it is him with a crazy record. Here's a crazy PoMo stat: the Panthers have never lost a playoff game since PoMo became head coach where they were leading at the end of any period (meaning if they had a lead at the end of the first or second period, they have won every time).

As to the OP, obviously I am Vamos Gatos.

Oilers in the West. I can't root for DeBoer coached team. His smug attitude stating "I didn't see any hand pass" vs the Blues in 2019 series was ridiculous. It was so sweet to watch the Blues physically destroy the Sharks the remainder of the series.

Canes in the East. I'd love to see Brind"Amour coached team make it to the Finals.

However, expect Dallas and Florida to win. Hopefully it will 2 competitive series.

Anybody but the Oilers. Their fans after the offer sheets talked so much [shirt] about the Oilers are going to win the Cup and the Blues might win the lottery. They were quiet once EDM started to stumble and the Blues started to surge, but the [shirt] talk started again after we were eliminated. I'd like to see Mc Jesus win, I actually like their team. Those fans though. Nope, not this year. I always used Dallas as an example of how I wanted Army to build the Blues, so I think they are the one I want to see most. I can't root for Marchand, but, I won't be (upset) if Florida wins again.
