Same old story — "Give us money and we'll start winning." It's laughable at this point. How about winning with what you've got? Show you're a real leader: adapt, grow, and make it work. If you can't, then step aside. No top recruits are joining a winless program, and if the AD can't support a young coach, then who's the bigger problem — the coach or the AD? Either way, don't expect a dimewinonsports wrote: ↑09 May 2025 12:59 pmIt's always comical to see someone state this when he has never supported the program in the past and has no plans to do so in the future.Spend money on the program.
And then he has the audacity to relish in the losses as the season continues.

Not much for us except we’re finally playing good baseball. But it does mean A&M probably won’t make the tourney, which is mind boggling considering they were preseason #1. I think this might be the 1st time in like 35 years that’s happened. Spoiling their season is a nice consolation.

I don't care what you say to him he wins when you do because that's what he needs and seeks.

The OP was trying to get others to pile on and berate the team. He got his attention all right, but it was not what he was looking for.
He then got belligerent in the hopes it would change. A couple of others tried to revive the beratement, but the three game, series sweep derailed it.

Thrilled for the kids. They needed that shot in the arm after the season they’ve endured.
The sweep doesn’t mean the program is up all of a sudden. Stats still say this is a historically bad team. By far worst in the SEC. One of the worst nationally. Coach Jackson is still in the same category as you, a bottom feeder. He’s running the Mizzou baseball program into the ground much the same way you’re running Mizzou Talk into the ground. You’re both a cancer in your respective arena’s.
You truly are peas in a pod. We need both of you to go to KU and stink that place up.

Re: Baseball historic season
Past couple days, have been in a word “rough”. Last series of the regular season vs Miss St at home. Last game today.
38 runs allowed in the 1st 2 games. Tigers pitchers have given up 12 home runs so far.
Our resident goofball is I’m sure perfectly satisfied and excited about Kerrick Jackson’s 3rd season next year. Jackson has done nothing but blame this year on injuries and immaturity of his players. Never mind there were just as many injuries last year. And WAY more in Bieser’s last season. Injuries are a part of the game.
I will remind everyone. Just 2 years ago. Bieser was fired after a season in which he was ranked early, swept Tennessee when they were #2 in the nation, and won 30 games. The only reason they didn’t go to the tourney was they really were devastated by injuries and fell down at the end of the season. Last year with Bieser’s players and recruits, our team ERA was 5.80. This year after a Jackson recruiting class and a few holdovers from Bieser: 9.18.
This is trending horribly in the wrong direction.

Re: Baseball historic season
MSU completes the sweep today 12-1. All 3 games lost by run rule. Outscored 50-11.
Winonsports salivating at what lows Jackson can take us to in the coming years.
Tell anyone who’ll listen. Jackson has to go.
And anyone who says “the basketball team didn’t win a game 2 years ago and they made the NCAA tourney this past year”. #1 baseball is quite different, basketball a couple roster changes and you can bounce back quick. Baseball it takes a very large TEAM and development is critical at Mizzou. #2 the basketball team was highly competitive 2 years ago, but anything that could go wrong did. They were in nearly every game. This year’s baseball team was so far behind the next worst team in the conference its terrifying. Especially pitching. We got run ruled consistently and weren’t competitive in most SEC games.

9.18. I had to look that up to make sure that wasn't a a typo. That's hard to imagine.Armchair QB wrote: ↑17 May 2025 07:38 am Past couple days, have been in a word “rough”. Last series of the regular season vs Miss St at home. Last game today.

False you failure loving goofball. Good fans don’t like failure, they love success for their team. You’re the opposite. You defend failure of our team.winonsports wrote: ↑19 May 2025 08:00 amHere's another poster who only pays attention when the chips are down.
If that was Mizzou's runs per game, then you wouldn't even care to look it up.
You are not good at this.

And it's the Internet, so pointing out how you are taking that to the extreme means I am the exact opposite.

Mizzou does bad - happy
Me:
Mizzou does bad - unhappy
I’m taking this particular thing to the extreme because it’s dangerous for the future of the program to have leader tanking the program this badly. It’s harder to recover for Mizzou in baseball than it is in a sport like men’s basketball. Especially since our 1st look at Jackson’s recruiting and player assessment was a complete disaster. I have zero confidence he’ll do better next year. The only reason he might do better next year is the bar was just set historically low.
But you are satisfied.
