He's 22. He's no longer a defensive liability. He works hard with a great attitude by all accounts.

He's been awful, no doubt. But he does have 5 RBI in his last 7 games. With his size & speed, IF he ever figures it out I want him to be wearing The Birds on the Bat!

Same, let him get better and better on defense, and whatever you get from offense now is a plus. He will figure it out

He's so big & strong...and boy can he hit the ball hard at times!

Imagine the squawking if we let him go and he became Dave Winfield somewhere else?

Yep, I remember some on the board saying to trade Herrera before when he was getting his cup of coffee, wow that would that have been a disaster!
Have to let Walker roll, Judge has a similar body type, he didn't figure it out till 25/26 if I recall

Saw speculation that once Bloom becomes POBO that he may trade for a big name star player (as Cards did in past acquiring Goldy,Arenado, etc.) .
One article suggested Padres Tatis Jr..
I would think San Diego may want a Jordan Walker as part of that blockbuster.
I know if I was Padres GM to consider trading Tatis that I would require Jordan in the deal with several others.
