Should be great. We just faced a really hot Phillies team (11-3 in their last 14 before we faced them) and we won the series.

Detroit has the best record in baseball and the best run differential.

Should be interesting. Scheduled pitching match ups w/ Royals: Pallante vs Ragans, Mikolas vs Lugo, Liberatore vs Wacha. Hopefully when the Tigers come to town, Flaherty will pitch one of the games. He has been getting lit up lately.

I would just really really really really hate to lose to Flaherty.

Thought I heard that Lugo would miss a rotation turn.

Wacha has been a stud for like 4 years now. What a steal KC got there

I hope that is true, he is tough.

Yes, after struggling mightily in 2019-21, he has revived his career and pitching like he did early in his career with St. Louis.

If Flaherty is getting lit up lately , as you say , then Dusty/Oli should match up Sonny with FLaherty . Could be another slugfest like last night's game with Gray .

Think how sweet it would be to knock him out of the game after 3.1 and 6 earned

He gave up 4 HR and 5 ER in 3 innings his last start, and 4 ER in each of his previous 2 starts in only 5 IP per start. He is scheduled to start at Toronto tomorrow night, so he will likely start next Wednesday in St. Louis.
