An embarassing exit is going to make it much easier for marner to leave nothwistanding his professed desire to stay. If marner goes, could see pajamas stay on a team friendly deal.

Didn't this series change when Stolarz was KO'd? That's some lame (bleep) that happens in the NHL playoffs. When a goalie is beating you just take him out.

Definitely a turning point in the series.

He got hurt in Game 1, by none other than Bennett. Woll has played OK, but with the Leafs it's seems any adversity gets them to fold.

I hear you but losing your goalie hurts.

Woll played pretty well in game 4. The superstars ( the lottery picks that the Leafs tanked for and drafted) were blanked as they are through two periods tonite. All that tanking and drafting with not even a scf to show for it.

Stolarz was great in all but one game vs Ottawa (Game 4, still not terrible). He looked very solid in the first half of Game 1 against Florida, letting in just 1. Then he gets knocked out.

Woll has since let in 17 goals in roughly 4 games worth of playing time since taking over midway through Game 1. Yeah they got 2 wins out of it, but he hasn’t been great.

I’m not pinning this on Woll mind you. The Leafs are going on 125 minutes without a goal. It’s a team problem.

We may be witnessing the end of the Leafs as we know them.

The yearly Leaf meltdown. I didn't expect this tonight. Remarkable to see actually.
I wonder what will happen in Game 6.

Leafs blew it when they didn’t run Bobrovsky in game 2. I agree total [nonsense] that Bennett injured Leafs goalie. Fla should have had to sit Bob until Leafs goalie came back.

Anyone think the Leafs will not be able to sit down tomorrow after the spanking the Panthers have laid on them tonight?

BTW, I feel really bad for Cheif. He did not deserve this.

Yes, that would put an end to attempts on injuring the goalie very quickly.

I can't imagine they're not going to continue imploding.

I haven't seen a team so completely fold like this in quite a while.
