All joking aside, I give the kid credit . His hitting has been a major struggle but he has kept focused when in the field . His defense has been very good . Some players who have hitting woes also let their defense struggle too . Mind in the field is on their hittiing issues not playing defense. That has not been Walker . Nice focus for the kid.

For sure. I don't want him to get sent down because I don't like him. I'm concerned what it's doing to him mentally. Crazy that just 2 years ago he was Duncan-esque in the OF and now he's a late inning replacement. Hopefully he's a couple swings from figuring it out. Taking the first pitch he saw today in the other way in Game 1 was encouraging.

And Chip is doing his best to jinx this game. He's already declared it a victory 3x.
