Yeah, when a team is losing, the key bloopers get caught and the key rockets don't find holes. And vice versa for opponents.

I was not able to watch the last inning, but I did listen to it. It went very quickly and sounded bad.

Oh there’s that team

4 of last 5 outs were Ks, after AreNoDo didn’t

Those who have been waiting to vent finally can do so . Will enjoy reading all of them. :D
I can't fault 'em for losing a 2-1 game. It would be worse if it was a blowout. Played 'em tough.

Oddity today ... In the victory streak , Walker did nothing with the 'bat ... Now in today's game ,he gets a single driving in a run and the team loses the game.
So his contribution goes somewhat unnoticed .

Fedde's performance was excellent too . He allowed just 3 hits , 0 runs, Very good considering the Phillies lineup .

Winn [shirt]ty tag cost 2 runs

Nado flails and pops up a slider six inches off plate

Last 5 ABs were putrid

Yeah, it's hard to get luck from the baseball gods when the last 4 outs are all Ks.

You watch your mouth. This is all on Oli and Arenado.
Remember when Harper was over on 3rd base with 1 out . The Phillies stranded him too. Did Phills lose their plate discipline not driving him in there ? Hey , it happens to both clubs. Bet some of their fans were complaining about their guys stranding him there .

BTW Walker drove in a RISP with a 2 out single .

Tough to win close games on the road against very good teams.
Too bad.....Cards are battling.
Arenado AB was the game.
Awful plate discipline bailed out the pitcher on a 2-0 pitch.
Get the nightcap for the series!

You nailed it when you said 'Phils benefitted from a couple of weak hits to score two .
In postgame Oli interview , he said 'They (Phillies) had a couple well placed balls to score runs .
Loved the 'well placed ball's verbage .. a manager's way of saying Dang, that Harper blooper killed us today . Talk about lucky !
So they call it a couple well placed balls .. obviously Harper did not intend to hit a bloop there on that pitch but it fell in between Vic and Masyn .

Cards were given breaks with the walks.
Nice bounce back win tonight!
