production, when given the chance, was pretty dang impressive. It kind of seems like a seniority thing going on.
Well, the Cards brass sure disagrees with your thoughts on Walker seeing that he's in the lineup for today's game!

(Did I do the Burleson thingy right?)
I would reaslly like to see Walker start hitting better. The same with Gorman and Burleson.

I will do as you say IF you comply with a short list of demands....

1. Stop creating duplicate threads every couple of days.
2. Stop trying to integrate Burly into every thread.
3. Stop utilizing multiple sock accounts.
4. When you make a point, utilize data, facts, stats to back up your points rather than anecdotal stories.
5. Stop over-hyping prospects you've never seen play.
6. Stop comparing young prospects to Hall of Fame players.
7. Admit you've used the racist socks Wally Butterworth & Robert Shelton in the past.
8. Try to limit the insane amounts of edits you use on each post.
Your repeated racist accusations without any substantial proof regarding me, personally, imply some real insanity related issues on your part, Frenchy boy. Please apologize. Or I'm done responding to your nonsense. You just want to play silly games. I just want to discuss baseball. Get lost if you can't do that, freak.
Marshall...everyone who has been around a few years knows you were Wally & Robert Shelton. Denying it only makes you look crazier than you already appear.

But hey, kudos...only 3 edits this time! Nicely done!
"everyone who has been around a few years knows you were Wally & Robert Shelton". Would you happen to have a farm you would like to bet on that, Richard H? You are getting nuttier and nuttier. If you can't be more reasonable and respectful. And just discuss baseball. I am done responding to you. You'll be "barking up a hollow tree". Being a good ole' country boy, like you seem to be, I'm sure you "get my drift". LOL
Born & Raised in South City. Have lived in Town & Country for over 30 years.

I do own a farm in Adair County. Family farm passed down from generation to generation.
I appreciate the civil post. Please try to understand that I was not Wally or Robert Shelton. I am guessing they were one in the same. Both handles agreed with my feeling that Burleson was a fine hitting prospect. Often agreeing with what I posted. That was my only connection to Wally and Robert Shelton.
I don't believe you. Wally followed you to The Cardinal Nation, but was quickly shut down when they discovered he was one of your socks.

Well, the Cards brass likes what they see. And so does Oli.

(See how dumb that sounds, Shady?)

So why isn't Wally following me now on Cards Talk? The problem I had on Cardinal Nation had nothing to do with Wally. Walton must have thought I overdid it with Burleson related posts. My issue is that your misguided assertions seem to, somehow, brand me a racist. And I don't appreciate that.

Ahh....trick question. None of them are overall hitters. In fact, currently only one even qualifies as a hitter at all.

Walker is RF .. we have Noot Scott and him

Saggese is infielder predominantly.
He has Winn Donnie and Nado ahead of him there .
To be fair, you can play one of them. So I think the comparisons are fair.

You can go

LF Donovan
CF Scott
RF Nootbaar

With either Saggese or Gorman at 2B.

Or

LF Noot
CF Scott
RF Walker

2B Donovan

Things really get interesting when Wetherholt enters the picture, probably next year.
"Things really get interesting when Wetherholt enters the picture, probably next year". I see Wetherholt as a 3B possibilty. Especially, if Gorman doesn't pan out as a MLB hitter.
Gorman is not now, never has been, nor ever will be, a MLB hitter.

Adam2 wrote: 13 May 2025 16:45 pm Saggese doesn't have the upside as Walker and Gorman do. But probably a higher floor. That being said higher upside is ALWAYS going to get a much longer runway, and it should. Saggese does look like a solid player though
This.
