Re: Bryce and Erick
I remember Paul Golschmidt having that situation too . Sorry , don't remember the pitchers.
Funny thing about Harper /Fedde matchup I wonder how many other pitchers have terrible reccords vs Harper . Stars tend to do that .
With Stan Musial having a lifetime batting average over .330 imgagine how many pitchers he owned .. OMG They guy had 3,630 hits .

Re: Bryce and Erick
Musial owned a lot of pitchers, but four that he totally destroyed pitched for the Brooklyn Dodgers: Preacher Roe, Don Newcombe, Carl Erskine, and Johnny Podres. These were all star quality pitchers, each won over 120 games, and Newcombe even won a Cy Young award. Against these four hurlers, Musial hit .354 with 36 HR and 97 RBI in 579 PA. Kind of explains why the Brooklyn fans gave Stan his nickname, when he would come up to bat at Ebbets Field, they would say "Here comes that Man again".ramfandan wrote: ↑14 May 2025 12:09 pm I remember Paul Golschmidt having that situation too .
