Well, currently the next longest winning streak by the other 14 teams is the Mets 3 Wins The Braves and Cubs are next with 2 wins . That's it ..

Yet they are only 12 games over .500. That’s three games over for the next 33 games after the nine gamer.

Just like I said at the beginning of the season. We are as good as the Dodgers.

Once this streak ends, I expect around .500 ball with embedded 3-4 gane losing streaks. We will need to counter by winning a few games in a row several times.

Pirates and Nats took at least a game each fron Cubs. It matters. To me any streak of nine at any level is an achievement. At the professional level it’s an even greater feat.

It helps that LA wasn’t scheduled

Why sure I guess. But neither were the Yanks. What’s good about it is, we beat the lowly teams. Most time we lose to them. Now we can focus on the studs, and stay at .500 or above.

If the SP keep pitching well I expect a 60% clip if we stay healthy. Our pythag is 57%.

I have a feeling they will lose today which is fine as long as they don't lose both games today.
