He has a great assortment of pitches and excellent command. There's no fools gold there. I just hope we don't wear him out.

But the Cards' brass saw something in his arm because they kinda rushed him to the show despite not producing desirable results.

A 3.3 H/9 rate coupled with a .65 WHIP is...something.
The eye test last night matched the numbers he's putting up. The sequences to Marsh and Stott and the stuff on his pitches were very impressive. If he can be right-handed Andrew Miller in his prime, keep him in that role.
