Would Oli ever be so bold?

I'm easier on Oli than some, but his lineup favorites really get on my nerves. Herrera has been far and away our best hitter, yet he's been stuck hitting 6th. Despite being gone a month he's one off the team lead in HRs. Weirdly, despite having 5 HRs, he only has 8 RBI, but maybe that's a product of him hitting in a less productive spot in the lineup.

But yea, I'd like to see what he could do higher up in the lineup.

The often embraced direction here is

"Trade them when their value is peak or before their value tanks."

It's a curious question though. The likely needed adds to improve the team would be in pitching
or a OFer. Pitching prices can increase at the TD and any rentals would seem to be short sighted.
Would a higher floor OFer be a good get.

Of the contracts on the team that would be nice to purge I see Gray's or NA's as nice to move. Helsley,
Matz, or Fedde are a the few that could have upside in a trade that's missed out on in that situation. Miles
brings back even less, so irrelevant.

Always attempt to make the team better should be the deadline mantra. The exception only being a team
going for it.
