Not sure if it’s too early to label him a bust but he’s not a major league hitter

Yeah letting him sink into oblivion isn't doing him any good here.
Let him play at Memphis and go to work on rebuilding himself as a hitter.

I have the tanker on foe list. Only see his whiny posts when others others quote his silly remarks.

He's got a buddy on here, who is now claiming he's a 'former player'...they quote one another on a lot of threads...it must be difficult to monitor every thread and protect DeTwit and Mo-ran.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑11 May 2025 14:53 pmI have the tanker on foe list. They are kind of like self appointed monitors in elementary school who would rat out kids they thought weren't being compliant with every little rule. Nobody likes those guys.WLTFE wrote: ↑11 May 2025 14:56 pmHe's got a buddy on here, who is now claiming he's a 'former player'...they quote one another on a lot of threads...it must be difficult to monitor every thread and protect DeTwit and Mo-ran.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑11 May 2025 14:53 pmI have the tanker on foe list. I admit to being on the fence with Walker and the best course of action considering his struggles.
Without the luxury of knowing what he is working on tough to say where he’d get the most help?
If Brown is the best guy in the system to work with him then he might just stay?
He could be limited a bit by platooning?

I like Walker, but it might be biased by the image of what I expect him to be. At some point he is Dave Nicholson without the occasional home run. I also hate the idea of him going to another team and blossoming at age 24 to 27. Same with Gorman.Cusecards wrote: ↑11 May 2025 15:03 pm I admit to being on the fence with Walker and the best course of action considering his struggles.

He looks lost and tentative...I thought last year his defense was affecting his at bats...but he's really improved in the outfield..

They are frustrating but at least they are cost controlled for multiple seasons.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑11 May 2025 15:07 pmI like Walker, but it might be biased by the image of what I expect him to be. Gorman could be the one to get caught up in a numbers crunch?
Especially if Arenado stays then you also have Donovan, Saggese, and JJ looming.
Walker in the OF not so much. Chase Davis could be a factor next ST. Otherwise who is he blocking??

I kind of expect them to do the wrong thing. Hope they both start hitting with some power.Cusecards wrote: ↑11 May 2025 15:16 pmThey are frustrating but at least they are cost controlled for multiple seasons.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑11 May 2025 15:07 pmI like Walker, but it might be biased by the image of what I expect him to be. They're winning with him in RF, even if he's not producing yet. Who's he blocking unless you put Burleson out there? He can get the best instruction in the bigs and let him be around Winn, Scott, Noot, Contreras, etc. Give him some run and stop with the knee jerks.

186 batting average it’s pathetic.Manager said performance equals opportunity.Really!!!
Re: At what point do you send Walker down? He ain’t it
Time to send him down but I’m a little confused on who plays RF. I like Donovan at 2nd. So Noot stays in LF.
