Hope MM can go 5 and sluggers keep slugging.

And Burleson at 7 vs RHP.imadangman wrote: ↑11 May 2025 12:55 pm I think our best lineup would be what we have today but drop Arenado to 6, so have Contreras 4 and Herrera 5.

Walker has an absolute cannon in right

Right on Saggese, wrong on Burleson. Walker or Gorman need some time at Memphis. In case you choose to be blind to Burleson. He's been contributing to the hot streak.

+1
Saggese should be here and playing 2nd base.
BUT
They seem hellbent in this "runway" season giving Norman his shot.
With Ivan back and the top choice to DH, that means playing time for him at 2nd base unless NADO was traded.

Burly's power seems to have resurrected a little bit. If he can just avg the xhb he did last season but spread out so there's not such power outages, he's a serviceable big leaguer imo.

With Hererra back and should be at DH 90% of the PA's (he's a better hitter vs RHP than Bumbles), where would he play?blackinkbiz wrote: ↑11 May 2025 13:08 pmBurly's power seems to have resurrected a little bit. Not moving WillyC off first, no way he gets OF time if they truly want to see what Walker can do in this "runway" season.
I think Burleson is trade bait, either solo for a minor league RP or as a toss in if they deal Helsley or Fedde or NADO.

Yes, early in year his strong throws weren’t accurate at a high rate but it seems his throws are more on the money.
Cannon arms only help when you get put the ball on the money.
Why Clemente’s arm was so awesome.. a cannon that he would throw to any base or home plate so accurately.
As Kid, I saw him play several games at old Busch.
Some eye-popping throws . I personally remember a ball thrown from RF corner to 3rd on a fly nailing the Cardinal runner . It was Wow!
