Wasn't too long ago , the Cards were in 4th place struggling . Now they are 8-3 in the last 11 games.. zoomed past both the Reds and Brewers and are closing in on the Cubs.

cubs lost too. Cards just 2 games out of 1st.

Dont expect it to last too long though, Cubs play Marlins (twice), white sox, Reds (twice), Rockies, and Nationals to close out the month.

And, even though the Bucs are in the central, props to them for dropping Atl down another game too. Not going to have to worry about Pitt, so it's nice to get Atl a loss any time they can.
