Baseball historic season

Post by Armchair QB »

Mizzou baseball in Texas A&M this weekend to continue its pursuit of perfection, putting its 0-24 SEC record on the line. 6 more games to be 0-30.

They’re also pursuing the Mizzou record for losses and overall worst season in history. Last in SEC in pitching (by a wide margin), hitting, and fielding. Pitching is near the bottom of NCAA division 1, out of 299 teams Mizzou has been consistently @ 280 or so.

Mizzou has safely secured the worst ERA in school history. Unofficially I think we’re also pursuing the most games lost by run rule in history.

Head Coach Kerrick Jackson continues to blame it on injuries.

Reminder, it was just 2 years ago that Coach Bieser had a top 25 team, that swept #2 ranked Tennessee early in the season. Then they sustained REAL injuries and finished poorly. But they still won 30 games and were extremely competitive in the SEC. Yet, Bieser was fired and we hired Jackson. He won 9 SEC games last year with nearly all Bieser players. He brought in many of HIS guys this year.

You see the results.

Mizzou: Please fire this coach. Hire a real coach. Spend money on the program. Get it back to respectability before it’s too late.

Spend money on the program.
It's always comical to see someone state this when he has never supported the program in the past and has no plans to do so in the future.

And then he has the audacity to relish in the losses as the season continues.

Wow, that is bad. Hopefully they can get ONE win.

There is local talent coming up. Missouri youth baseball (club level) does pretty well vs other states, and even in the deep south. We have a bunch of good feeder clubs just in StL with big sponsors that play all year around.

Hopefully they get this worked out soon.

Clueless people like you, with very little reading comprehension, shouldn’t fake like they have a clue. Give it another try, re-read what I said. Go ahead. Try again. See where I said I believe the team quit. Nearly all of my ire has been in the direction of the head coach, who I believe to be an idiot. Some ire toward the school for not supporting this program and that goes back to when Bieser was here. In fact Bieser got less help than Jackson has gotten in just 2 years.

The players are just doing the best they can given the circumstances.

You and Kerrick Jackson deserve each other. A couple really dumb people.

By mentioning they could have quit means you believe they could have

But speaking of reading comprehension, here's where you fail. You believe that because I'm not falling in line with your enjoyment, that means I'm in the opposite camp as you, and you comprehend that to mean I am happy with the season..

You and Edwin deserve each other. A couple really dumb people.

I’ve seen Edwin post for a long time. Edwin is a good one. You sir, are no Edwin.

And way to edit the context of my post to try and make a fake point, Mr unethical. Stupid and unethical are no way to go through life. You deserve a coach like Kerrick. If the AD thinks like you, Kerrick is who we’ll have as coach for a long time and this program is in serious trouble.

Texas A&M fans calling for firing their coach in his 1st year. He’s won 10 SEC games and before this series we’re projected to be a tourney team.
