Just curious: Why aren’t all the minor league teams carrying the Cardinals nickname?

Peoria Chiefs have been the Peoria Chiefs for a while, I believe before the affiliate joined the Org after leaving Quad Cities. They wanted to keep their own identity.

Memphis Redbirds wanted a link to the Parent Club, but their own identity as well....why they went with Redbird.
