Walker just looks so mechanical/robotic at the plate -- he needs to get back to being an athlete.
When was that
Long looping swing
he's obviously hit well before --- to bring golf full circle, at the plate he looks like the guy who takes 2 practice swings and thinks of 5 or more different things in the 15 seconds it takes him to pull the trigger on his golf shot. At some point you have to remove the technical and just rely on your instincts -- the best can do a combination of both but he just looks like everyone in the dugout gives him an idea before he takes his next at bat. Give him a couple shots of tequila to remove his brain from paralyzing himself at the plate (obviously joking) but i've seen first hand what it can do for golfers who are struggling... or maybe send him for a long weekend in sikeston with BD, he would come away less stressed is my guess

I was watching him the last two nights when I was at the stadium and VSII has made some HUGE strides in his first step and how he's tracking balls off the bat.
He's already a +6 DRS (tied w/Noot for team lead) and could have a GG in his future.

Or maybe "instincts" don't work in MLB and what worked as a big dog growing up, is not good enough against the elite league

maybe -- but my point is his instincts aren't being allowed to even come thru with how effed up they have his head.
