So the best young (age 22) starting pitcher in MLB, who happens to be established, wouldn't interest the Cardinals for a couple of "high ceiling" projects. Pirates should trade him. They have other young pitching but need position player help. Skenes will never sign a long term deal with the Pirates. They should work out a deal with a team loaded with position player prospects such as Dodgers, Red Sox or even Seattle
