Parayko for Zibanejad

Post by Bacchk29 »

Takes care of the 2C issue two full lines that can score. Move Schenn to the wing on the 3rd line Dvorsky is your 3C. Roll em!

It wouldn’t take anything close to Parayko to get Zibanejad at this point. The Rangers almost certainly regret that contract. If you traded Parayko (the Blues obviously won’t), you would get much, much more than that.

Parayko has max value right now. It’s the same as the Fowler situation with Anaheim. Change of scenery. We won 12 in a row WITHOUT him. Not to mention he was pretty bad in this past series.

Not sure how else you fix the 2C problem. Surely you’re not going with Schenn again next year

Absolutely not.
Parayko could've arguably be in the conversation for the Norris before his injury. Not that he would've won it, but he was getting noticed.

You don't trade dominate RHD like Parayko.

Not at all. Leads the team in ice time. He shuts down opposing players and pitched in 16 goals this year.
You are the one that has to be kidding.
How the F are you going to replace him? RHD like him are probably the most valued type players right now.

Cause we need a 2C. Ok, see if something less would do it, but go up to that. 55 has the size, reach and shot but not always the IQ.

I looked into this about midway through the year. I like the idea. 2c next year and can drop to 2c when dvorsky takes over 2c. Just not sure what AAV looks like on a 2-3 season contract.
