Tucker/Holloway

Post by titus »

Just wondering if anyone heard what the actual injuries are to these two?
Thanks

Guessing Army and Montgomery will have the end of season press conference tomorrow or Wednesday. Very curious about both of them, but especially Holloway. Another poster said this morning that he heard that Holloway has a torn oblique. That actually would explain the uncertainty and confusion initially over how long he could be out. Those can go from a couple of weeks to 4 months or longer, depending on how bad it is. It’s hardly ideal, but I guess it’s better than a serious hip or knee injury.

Tucker is almost definitely a knee injury, but what type will be interesting.

If it was a torn oblique, yeah it can take a long time to heal, but the good news is, once its healed it should be good to go again and won't effect his skating at all.

I’m thinking Thomas had something more than was divulged too. Maybe Kyrou as well.

Yep. It was obvious that Thomas was injured when the series started. He somehow regained his form, and in my opinion, played about as well as is expected. He had 8 pts in 7games. Led all forwards in ice time and was positive on the faceoff dot. He's only 25...and only getting better.

He's hitting his prime and now there's a coach with a vision and talent finally getting put back in place around him.

We'll hear more at Army's presser today, but it's believed that Holloway had surgery for his injury and wouldn't have been available for the remainder of the season, regardless of the Blues' performance.

If a player has surgery that is rarely kept hush hush. I'd say whoever said that is likely very misinformed.

I'd probably say believed by Holloway...who actually had the surgery. Or as Army said: "had some work done".

Idk, maybe start there?

Is that from the press conference? What all did he say about injuries? Everyone expected to be healthy by training camp?
