National Weather Service
Has issued a Hot Take Warning for Blues Talk effective from 10pm last night for the next couple weeks. Be prepared for knee-jerk reactions, emotional rants, and other assorted craziness.
Re: National Weather Service
I was obviously disappointed by how it unfolded but I think people need to keep in context that a large part of why it took 7 games and 2 OTs for them to defeat us was that they had Shaky Bucky in the net.
The Stars don't. And the physicality of this series was obviously starting to take its toll. I suspect they would have disposed of us fairly quickly.

True. Even if Dallas whipped us in 5, I still think it would have been nice to be theresdaltons wrote: ↑05 May 2025 10:31 am I was obviously disappointed by how it unfolded but I think people need to keep in context that a large part of why it took 7 games and 2 OTs for them to defeat us was that they had Shaky Bucky in the net.

Of course! I'm just saying between those things and also our inability to close out games, which has plagued us for months, so unlikely to just go away, it's not like a long run was ahead of us.netboy65 wrote: ↑05 May 2025 10:43 amTrue. That’s where I’m at as well…..trying to make myself feel better by acknowledging that Dallas would have probably beaten us in a short series. They played a 7-game series as well, but not as physical as what the Blues went thru. Plus they are apparently getting Robertson and Heiskanen back for Round 2.sdaltons wrote: ↑05 May 2025 10:48 amOf course! I can't argue that opinion of yours but I don't share it.sdaltons wrote: ↑05 May 2025 10:31 am I was obviously disappointed by how it unfolded but I think people need to keep in context that a large part of why it took 7 games and 2 OTs for them to defeat us was that they had Shaky Bucky in the net.

I don't think they would have disposed of us with any ease or speed at all.
